In 2002 Nico Dassen passed his examinations “cum laude” for the diploma ‘Drum-major’ of the Limburg Association of Drum bands. Besides his function
of Drum-major he is also assistant instructor of the Drum- and Bugle Corps and he participates in the percussion section of the Wind Orchestra.
Being the Drum-major Nico Dassen takes the responsibility of street performances of the Koninklijke Harmonie Sainte Cécile. Under his leadership several outdoor events like tattoos at home and abroad were successfully performed.
